Charlie Cameron headlines the inclusions for the SANFL Crows ahead of Adelaide’s clash with Woodville-West Torrens on Sunday.

The livewire forward will play his first game in eight weeks after overcoming a groin complaint which has sidelined the former rookie since he booted three goals against Fremantle in Round 12.

Cameron, who recently signed a new two-year deal with the Crows, last appeared in Adelaide’s SANFL side in Round Five against Port Magpies.

Athletic utility Shaun McKernan has also recovered from a groin injury which forced the 196cm ruck/forward out of last week’s side. McKernan will start at centre half-forward for the SANFL Crows.

Tom Lynch is set to play in his third state league match of the year, while Jarryd Lyons could return to the SANFL if not required for Adelaide’s AFL encounter on Saturday against West Coast. Sam Shaw is the final emergency on standby for the senior side.

Development players Michael O’Malley, Gene Robinson and Sam Pfeiffer round out the inclusions, with the trio been named on an extended interchange.

Key defender Kyle Hartigan is out of the side as he continues his recovery from internal injuries sustained in last week’s clash at Alberton.

The Crows stunned the Eagles by 48 points in their last meeting in Round Nine, and must produce a repeat performance if Adelaide is any hope of making a last-gasp finals appearance.

Coach Heath Younie said he expects strong opposition from the third-placed Eagles on Sunday.

“We probably played one of our best games of the season the last time we played them,” Younie told afc.com.au.

“They will be keen to atone for that result, so we can’t afford to let our guard down at all.

“The Eagles are genuine flag contenders and they’re a very professional outfit with quality players throughout their list.

“It’s going to be another unique challenge for our team at this stage of the year.”

The match kicks off at 2.10pm on Sunday at Woodville Oval with free entry to all Crows ticketed members. Radio station Life FM will broadcast the game live.

In Sunday’s other SANFL games, Central District travel to Unley to confront Sturt, while North Adelaide host Norwood at Prospect Oval. The Panthers will be aiming to upset league leaders Port Adelaide at Noarlunga on Saturday afternoon, with Glenelg and West Adelaide to collide under lights at the Bay.
