Adelaide forward Hannah Munyard has been named a finalist in the 2024 NAB AFLW Goal of the Year award.

The 23-year-old has been recognised for her skillful finish during the first quarter of the Crows’ Week Six win over St Kilda.

Receiving a handball from Caitlin Gould close to the boundary on the forward flank, Munyard used her trademark speed to breakaway from a trio of Saints defenders.

As the goals came into sight, she quickly composed herself and delivered a perfect checkside that sailed through the big sticks.

Munyard’s effort saw her win the Goal of the Week nomination for Week Six.

She is one of three finalists for the award, alongside Port Adelaide’s Gemma Houghton and the Western Bulldogs’ Deanna Barry, with the winner to be announced at the W Awards on Monday, November 25.

The overall winner will be determined by a combination of votes from the 2024 AFLW All-Australian panel and fan votes.

Make sure to get your votes in for Hannah.

Finalist voting closes on Monday, November 18 at 9.30am (ACDT).
