Ulcer slows Porplyzia
Crows forward Jason Porplyzia will have a light week after suffering from a stomach ulcer.
Porplyzia underwent a series of tests which revealed a stomach ulcer.
He had sent a scare through the Crows camp on Friday night when he was taken to hospital in an ambulance after the narrow win over Carlton in the NAB Cup match at AAMI Stadium.
General Manager Football Administration Phil Harper said it was expected that Porplyzia would be available for the round one clash with Essendon at AAMI Stadium on March 22.
“He will have a light week of training this week and will resume full training the following week,” Harper said.
