Round 15 v West Coast, Adelaide Oval
Adelaide’s dramatic fourth-quarter comeback earned a 10-point win over West Coast after trailing by 27 points late in the game.
A goal to Scott Lycett 23 minutes into the third term had the Eagles up by 27 and Adelaide with a mountain to climb before Taylor Walker kept the Crows alive with a goal shortly before the siren.
Walker kicked two more goals early in the fourth before Hugh Greenwood’s major had the Crows in front midway through the quarter.
West Coast staged a late rally but could not reel Adelaide back as the home side claimed the points.

Walker finished with three goals, all in the second half, Matt Crouch had 32 disposals and Sam Jacobs crucially won a thrilling ruck contest against Nic Naitanui and Scott Lycett.
The return of Rory Laird (43 disposals, six rebound 50s) and Rory Sloane (27 disposals, 17 contested possessions, eight clearances, seven tackles) provided a huge impact for the home side.

Adelaide struggled under immense pressure from the Tigers at the MCG, going down by 47 points in their second encounter for the year.
A close start was followed by a three-goal burst in the second quarter which saw Richmond establish a 22-point lead at the main break.

The Crows struggled to string consecutive goals together against the defending Premiers and finished with just the one goal in the last quarter.
Good signs came from Rory Sloane (31 disposals), defender Tom Doedee (27 and eight marks) and Rory Laird (35).
Matt Crouch (38) had a game-high tally and Josh Jenkins held strong in the forward line to boot three goals.
