Eddie Betts will be aiming to join the illustrious ‘300 club’ in the year ahead.

The small forward has played 277 AFL games, and will be hoping to celebrate his 300^th at the tail end of the season. 

While 23 games could be a big ask of the 31-year-old in 2018, and relies on the Crows playing at least one final, Betts has proven his durability in recent years by playing 93 of a possible 94 games since arriving at West Lakes.

Betts is also on the verge of ticking off a host of other individual landmarks in 2018. He remarkably looks set to play his 100^th game in the tri-colours against his former side Carlton in round seven, which makes Betts’ sons Lewis and Billy eligible as potential future father-son selections by both Carlton and Adelaide.

Named in the All-Australian team over the last three seasons, Betts will join Tony Lockett and Lance Franklin as the only players to kick 250 goals at two AFL/VFL clubs when he registers his sixth major of the 2018 season.  The fan favourite has booted 244 goals in his time at the Crows following nine seasons as a Blue, where he kicked 290 goals across 184 games.

Recruits Bryce Gibbs and Sam Gibson will potentially chalk up significant personal milestones in season 2018, with South Australian-born Gibbs currently sitting on 19 matches short of 250 AFL games.  The former Blue will also need to kick 13 goals this season to register his 150^th career major. 

Former North Melbourne running machine Gibson will look towards his 150^th game as he seeks to resume a noteworthy run of 130 consecutive AFL appearances, with the midfielder playing every game since his senior debut for the Roos in 2012. 

Wingman David Mackay and two-time All-Australian defender Daniel Talia sit just shy of their 200^th and 150^th games respectively.

Andy Otten needs to make just two more appearances to reach his 100^th career game.

The resilient swingman, who notably had to wait 960 days between his 79^th and 80^th game following multiple knee reconstructions, returned to the Adelaide side in 2017 to play 19 matches.

A trio of young players are close to playing their 50^th matches, with Mitch McGovern, Jake Kelly and Riley Knight all likely to reach the milestone this season after breakout 2017 campaigns.
