Adelaide has named its squad for its pre-season match simulation against Port Adelaide in Mount Barker on Friday night.
The game will be played across six, 28-minute periods, with a 12-minute break after the first three terms to allow for teams to rotate their players/squads.
Adelaide’s squad consists of a mix of AFL and SANFL-listed players, with new recruits Alex Neal-Bullen and James Peatling set to feature, as well as draftees Sid Draper and Tyler Welsh.
Defender Wayne Milera has been named in his first game against an opposition after missing most of last season with a knee injury.
Crows top-up players named in the squad include Lachie Thomas, Jay Boyle, Hugh Haysman, Blake Drury, Jay O’Leary, Lachlan McAndrew, Ned Atkinson and SANFL Skipper Jack Madgen.
Isaac Cumming will be managed in preparation to play next week, as will Izak Rankine, who was ill during the week and played in the Indigenous All Stars game in Perth last weekend.
Lachlan Sholl (knee soreness), Max Michalanney (thumb) and Kieran Strachan (foot) will miss the game due to injury.
Adelaide faces Port Adelaide at the Summit Sport and Recreation Park, Mount Barker, this Friday.
Gates will open at 3pm, with the game to kick off at 5pm.
The match is sold out, with no further tickets available to the public.
The match will be broadcast on Fox Footy, available on Kayo Sports and Foxtel.
