How many Adelaide Football Cub jumpers would you own if you collected every different version worn in games?

Twenty? Fifty? No, in the Adelaide Football Club's first 31 years, Crows footballers have worn more than 100 versions of nearly 40 different jumper styles in the AFL, AFLW and SANFL.

Even if the iconic main hooped jumper created in late 1990 is counted as one style, it has been through a series of modifications to collars, number size and font, fabric, sponsor badges, manufacturer template, fit, shape and width of the horizontal red, gold and blue bands or hoops.

The new jumper collection section in the online Crows History Locker is now live and features images and information about all the AFL, AFLW and SANFL guernseys worn by the Crows teams in every season.

There are also sections on Indigenous and one-off/heritage jumpers and details about all the numbers worn by the AFL players.

Some key jumper milestones include the design of the original hooped jumper in late 1990, the first new design for the club’s pre-season games in 1996, the first away/clash jumper in 1999 and the first heritage jumper in 2004.

Adelaide first wore a one-off guernsey for the AFL Indigenous Round in 2013, created a new design for the Club’s new SANFL side in 2014, and then used the original hooped design as inspiration for the first AFLW Crows uniform in 2017.
