Adelaide will fly to Melbourne tonight where it will prepare to play Hawthorn at Marvel Stadium on Saturday night.

Acting on the direction of the AFL, it follows the SA Government’s announcement of a seven-day state-wide lockdown.

The Round 19 game against Hawthorn which was to be played at Adelaide Oval at 5.40pm on Saturday, July 24, has been shifted to Marvel Stadium at 7.10pm (AEST).

Crows CEO Tim Silvers said the season continued to be unpredictable and the Club was willing to do whatever it took to keep it going.

“It is extremely disappointing that we won’t get to play a home game in front of our Members and fans this weekend,” Silvers said.

“However, we are living in uncertain times and the health and safety of the community is of utmost importance.

“The Club will provide Members with regular communication so they have the latest information regarding the team’s movements, and we will ramp up our exclusive inner-sanctum content to ensure they remain part of the journey.”
