Adelaide captain Rory Sloane has suffered a finger injury during Adelaide’s game against Carlton on Sunday.
Sloane appears to have a high-grade tendon injury to his left ring finger and he will undergo x-rays tomorrow to determine the extent of the damage.
Crows Senior Coach Matthew Nicks said there were fears the skipper was set for an extended stint on the sidelines.
“We are a bit concerned and we had another player with a similar injury earlier in the year in Lachlan Gollant and he missed a substantial amount of time,” Nicks said.
“We are not exactly sure yet and we will have to get scans done and have it checked out, but there’s a possibility we will miss him for a while.”
The Club will provide a further update in coming days.
