Harley Bennell and Charlie Dixon headline five inclusions for Gold Coast ahead of Saturday’s clash against Adelaide.
Dixon missed last weekend’s 15-point loss to Greater Western Sydney due to an ankle injury suffered against the Western Bulldogs a week earlier.
Bennell returns to the senior side for the first time since Gold Coast’s Round 13 loss to Carlton in Melbourne. The talented midfielder has now completed a club-imposed suspension after playing at NEAFL level last weekend.
Key defender Henry Schade, wingman Luke Russell and utility Sean Lemmens join the duo on the inclusions list.
Ruckman Tom Nicholls (quad), midfielder Mitch Hallahan (arm) and utility Jarrod Harbrow (fatherhood) make way, with Clay Cameron and Peter Wright the Suns’ unforced changes.
Cameron, former Lion Andrew Raines and South Australian Keegan Brooksby are the emergencies.
