Key Brisbane pair Josh Green and Matthew Leuenberger are likely to miss Saturday’s clash with the Crows at Adelaide Oval.

The club’s leading goalkicker this season, Green hasn’t played since Brisbane’s Round 14 loss to Fremantle after a post-match scan revealed a stress fracture in his foot.

The forward avoided surgery, but Green isn’t expected to resume on Saturday night against Adelaide.

Leuenberger has missed the past two games with a lower leg strain sustained during Brisbane’s clash with Geelong at Simonds Stadium. Like Green, the Lions expect the 203cm ruckman to spend another week on the sidelines.

Brisbane reported no new injuries in the Club’s win over Carlton – the club’s first victory since Round Seven.

Coach Justin Leppitsch could include ball magnet Rohan Bewick for the trip to Adelaide after the 25-year-old collected 40 possessions and kicked two goals in a best-on-ground display in the NEAFL last weekend.

Ben Keays (30 possessions) and veteran Brent Staker (25) both booted two goals in Brisbane’s NEAFL 37-point loss to NT Thunder, while Hugh Beasley could be in the mix for his first senior appearance since Round 17.
