Adelaide has added new 2006 leadership group member Jason Torney to its provisional squad for Saturday's NAB Cup quarter-final clash against Hawthorn at Aurora Stadium in Launceston.

Torney missed Adelaide's thrashing of Port Adelaide last Sunday for the birth of his second child last Friday while also recovering from a virus.

Comeback Crow Jason Porplyzia, who shone against the Power, is out of the squad with a quadriceps strain.

Porplyzia finished with 19 touches in his first match with the club since being listed as a rookie with the Crows in 2003.

Adelaide has added youngsters John Meesen, Richard Douglas and Bernie Vince to the 28-man squad.

The Crows will still be without several key players including skipper Mark Ricciuto (groin), Nathan Bassett (shoulder), Ben Hudson (knee), Scott Welsh (leg stress fracture), Michael Doughty (knee) Matthew Clarke (leg soreness).

Hawthorn will enter its second round fixture against the Crows without 2005 All-Australian Peter Everitt, who has been forced out of the side due to hamstring problem.

Everitt suffered hamstring tightness during Hawthorn's 10-point win against Richmond last Saturday at Telstra Dome.

Defender/midfielder Michael Osborne is also out of the squad, but Campbell Brown, who played for the Box Hill Hawks last Friday night after injuring his shoulder during the pre-season is back in the squad.

Joining Brown as inclusions are three potential debutants - Grant Birchall and Max Bailey while Ben Kane, Zac Dawson and Tom Murphy have also been added the squad.

Former Hawthorn captain Shane Crawford and veteran forward John Barker continue to be rested by the Hawks.
