Crows wingman Chayce Jones will be available for selection this weekend after missing the past fortnight with a shoulder injury.
Jones hurt his shoulder in a SANFL trial earlier this month but has rejoined main training and is set to return to action.
It means Adelaide will have all players available to choose from ahead of Saturday’s clash with Essendon at the MCG.
“Chayce has missed the last two weeks with that shoulder injury but he’s completed everything we’ve asked him to do and he will be available for selection this weekend,” High Performance Manager Darren Burgess said.
“Pleasingly we came through both games on the weekend (SANFL trial and AFL game against St Kilda) unscathed so we’re pretty happy with that.
“Tex came out mid-way through the third quarter, it’s been a plan from the start of the season to manage Tex, we have a six-day break into an away game, so at various stages during the year Tex and others will be managed.
“We obviously wanted to expose (our substitute) Sid (Draper) to as much AFL footy as we can, so it turned out OK and Tex is fresh and ready to go this weekend.”
Defender Max Michalanney made a successful return from a thumb injury on Sunday, playing an important role in the Round 1 win over St Kilda.
“Max did really well, he was able to run while not being able to fully train with that thumb injury, so we were really confident he would have the fitness to get through the game and he did that well,” Burgess said.
