Adelaide midfielder Rory Sloane has been nominated for the Origin AFL Goal of the Year for his tremendous running goal against Greater Western Sydney at AAMI Stadium in round four.

Sloane wrong foots his Giants opponent and then takes off along the outer wing. He takes three running bounces and under pressure scrubs a kick forward. He follows up to the next contest, sharks the ball out of the air and kicks a wonderful left foot snap goal.
