Nick Gill returns to league football for the first time since round 12 in the SANFL this weekend.

Gill, on the comeback road after a serious ankle injury, will be one of five Crows in North Adelaide’s team to take on the Panthers at Prospect on Saturday afternoon.

Rory Sloane has been named as a ruck rover, Tony Armstrong in a back pocket, Phil Davis at full back and Greg Gallman at centre half back. Davis, Sloane and Armstrong are all emergencies for the Crows.

For the Panthers, Myke Cook will be looking for a good finish to the season after playing in his first win for the club last week.

Taylor Walker has been named in a forward pocket for Norwood, which hosts Central District at The Parade. Will Young will be in defence but Aaron Kite is out with hamstring strain while a sore calf will stop Jonathon Griffin from playing for Central.

The only other players in action this weekend are Tom Lee, for Sturt’s reserves, and Jarrhan Jacky, who will have a run in the South reserves as his regular club (the Eagles) have the bye in the last round.
