The Adelaide Football Club is welcoming South Australian secondary school bands to Crows home match days in season 2013.

St Mary’s College Funk Band, in collaboration with Christian Brothers College, will perform live outside AAMI Stadium on Sunday as part of the Club’s Match Day High School Bands program.

The initiative, which aims to showcase young South Australian musical talent, is flexible and looks to facilitate varying musical groups from duos to 10 piece ensembles.

Marryatville High School jazz ensemble FullStop kicked of the program for 2013 at Adelaide’s Opening Round match with Essendon.

Other secondary schools set to perform on the concourse in 2013 include Fremont-Elizabeth City High, Woodville High, Immanuel College and Wilderness School.

If you are involved in a secondary school music department and would like to be involved with the Club in the future, please contact Todd Westbury at the Club via email at twestbury@afc.com.au. Places are limited.
