The Crows have included Ian Callinan, Matthew Jaensch, Sam Kerridge and Shaun McKernan in a squad of 25 to play the Western Bulldogs at Etihad Stadium on Sunday.

McKernan was left out of the team that beat North Melbourne last weekend. Jaensch will be hoping to earn a recall after a strong month of form in the SANFL, while Callinan and Kerridge are in the running to play their first games since before the mid-season break.

In-form utility Ricky Henderson (knee) is the only confirmed omission at this stage, with the squad to be trimmed to 22 on Friday afternoon. See the final team and get coach Brenton Sanderson’s view on selection exclusive to afc.com.au at 4:30pm on Friday.

Sanderson said the Club was optimistic Henderson would only miss one game.

“Hendo’s got an impingement in his knee, so we won’t play him this week,” he said at a press conference on Thursday.

“He’s been battling with it for the last couple of weeks and been playing through it okay, but it’s probably got to the point now where he needs to have a week off.”
