Ruckman Reilly O’Brien collected a career-high 44 hit-outs, 22 disposals and 13 contested possessions.

Elliott Himmelberg backed O’Brien up in the ruck - the two combining for a round-high 17 hit-outs to advantage.

Himmelberg also had 13 touches, six marks, four inside 50s and a goal.

Big bodied midfielder Cam Ellis-Yolmen played a crucial role with a career-high 33 possessions and a team-high 15 contested possessions.

Ellis-Yolmen proved to be a workhorse around the stoppages and accrued five tackles, five inside-50s and four clearances.

Midfielder Matt Crouch amassed a round-high 39 disposals, including 13 contested, plus four marks, four clearances and three tackles.

His 39 disposals, and 32 to Rory Laird, helped the Crows to a round-high 449 disposals, while Fremantle had 405.

In a game where Adelaide had no multiple goalkickers it was the back six who established their dominance.

Returning to the scoreboard, the combined points tally of 85 was the equal-lowest score in an AFL game over the past two decades, and remarkably both games included Adelaide.
