Crow Riley Knight has undergone surgery after injuring his ankle at training earlier in the week.

The emerging midfielder suffered ligament damage and is expected to be sidelined for up to three months.

Knight, 19, was drafted at the end of 2013 and played every game (18) for Adelaide’s SANFL side last season, finishing joint runner-up in the side's inaugural best and fairest count.
