More than 1.3 million viewers tuned in to watch Adelaide’s clash with Geelong on Friday night.
The match delivered a massive peak audience of 1.333 million, and was also the most watched television offering in Adelaide this year, attracting an average of 181,000 viewers. This was on top of a sold-out and Club record crowd of 53,141 at Adelaide Oval.
The Crows have been a hit in the Friday night time slot this season.
Adelaide’s only other Friday night match – against Hawthorn at the MCG in Round Five – remains the highest rating match for the year on Channel 7.
On that night, a peak audience of 1.450 million were treated to a thriller between the Crows and the three-time reigning premiers.
