Adelaide veteran Richard Douglas is set to miss Thursday night's clash with Geelong at Adelaide Oval, but key defender Daniel Talia is expected to play.
Douglas rolled his ankle during the last quarter of last Friday night's 47-point loss to Richmond and spent the remainder of the match on the bench.

"We're reasonably bullish on Talia," Crows assistant coach Matthew Clarke said.
"The thought is he probably will get up.
"Dougie's probably less likely with his ankle.
"He's probably doubtful for this week."

Talia strained his foot in the pre-season, but the 26-year-old hasn't missed a premiership game this year.
He's been in outstanding form and shut down Tigers spearhead Jack Riewoldt before going off the ground for treatment for his foot.
Douglas, 31, has been a solid contributor for the Crows this season, playing through the midfield and across half-forward, averaging 18.6 disposals per game to go with 13 goals.
Sam Gibson could be recalled to the side in place of Douglas after 29 disposals in the SANFL last Saturday in his first game back from a hamstring injury.
Patrick Wilson (31 disposals) will also be considered, while winger Rory Atkins had 17 disposals and kicked two goals in his second game in the state league.
Atkins was dropped after the Crows' Round 13 loss to Hawthorn – the first time he had been axed since coach Don Pyke took over the team in 2016.
Players had the day off on Monday and will train at Adelaide Oval on Tuesday.
