Adelaide defender Brodie Smith has been charged with rough conduct by the Match Review Officer, following the Crows' match simulation against Port Adelaide on Friday night.

The charge resulted from an incident involving Port Adelaide’s Christian Moraes during the fifth period of the match in Mount Barker.

Smith has been offered a one-match ban, with the conduct graded careless, medium impact and high contact.

The ban will rule Smith out of selection for the Crows’ Round One match against St Kilda at Adelaide Oval on Sunday, March 16.
