Taylor Walker and Myke Cook are the other additions to the 25 who played in Saturday’s win over Gold Coast Suns at AAMI Stadium but coach Neil Craig told the media on Thursday that the team will be unchanged.
Riley, 19, was recruited from Wollongong on a New South Wales scholarship early in 2009. He was then added to the rookie list at the end of that year, moved to Adelaide and has been playing for Sturt in the SANFL. He will travel to Melbourne with the team on Saturday.
Defender Phil Davis has been added to the long-term injury list, allowing Riley to be the third rookie elevated by the Crows so far this season, following Matthew Wright and Chris Schmidt.
