Adelaide has made one change for its Round 22 game against the Western Bulldogs at Adelaide Oval on Sunday.
Forward turned midfielder Izak Rankine returns to the side following a four-week suspension, while young utility Billy Dowling has been omitted.
Adelaide Senior Coach Matthew Nicks told the media on Thursday Rankine would be a welcomed addition to the side.
“It was nice to see him out on the (training) track,” Nicks said.
“We tried to calm him down during our match play. The enthusiasm is probably at its highest for him.
“I don’t think he enjoys watching football but he loves playing the game, so we look forward to him coming back in.”
Talls Chris Burgess and James Borlase move from the extended squad to the emergency list, alongside utility Brayden Cook.
The Crows will name their substitute one hour before the game.
Adelaide will face the Western Bulldogs at Adelaide Oval on Sunday at 3.40pm.
