Across his 299 AFL games to date, Eddie Betts has kicked more than his fair share of memorable goals.

The mercurial small forward is a human highlights reel, with a proven ability to kick goals from almost anywhere inside forward 50.

With a CV including three AFL Goal of the Year awards, asking Betts to rate his favourite goal felt akin to asking who his favourite child is.

But while most parents won’t admit to having a favourite child, Betts had no hesitation in picking out his two favourite goals.

“I’d probably say the GWS one here would stick out the most where I won goal of the year for that,” Betts told AFC Media.

The goal against Greater Western Sydney came during Indigenous Round in 2016 with the Crows wearing a guernsey designed by Eddie's Aunt Susie.

Surprisingly, Betts’ second goal wasn’t one of his other Goal of the Year crowns, but a freakish effort from the stands at Norwood Oval which went viral in September last year.

“The other one would be the lighting strike that hit the post, that was quite amazing to have that. It’s never happened before,” Betts said with a laugh.

“It’s real too, it’s not fake.”
