Tough onballer Aidan Riley will start as the substitute in his first final.
The Swans have made one change with Tommy Walsh replaced in the selected side by Mitch Morton. Luke Parker will wear the green vest for Sydney.
On Thursday, Adelaide recalled stars Taylor Walker and Bernie Vince, who both missed the clash with Gold Coast through injury.
Forward Tom Lynch and defender Matt Jaensch, who was the substitute last weekend, were the unlucky players to miss out.
Coach Brenton Sanderson said the Crows match commitee had faced some tough decisions at the selection table.
“It’s great to be in this position, with a home Qualifying Final and a fit squad to choose from,” Sanderson told afc.com.au.
“We couldn’t have asked for the script to be written any better … now, we’ve got to get the win.”
Tough onballer Aidan Riley, who has only played four games for the season after receiving a long-awaited call-up in Round 19, was rewarded for his good form and will play his first final against the Swans.
“Aidan has come into the side at the right time of the year and has played some great footy,” Sanderson said.
“He probably suits this game against Sydney too. He’s a contested ball player and a clearance player. He likes it hard and tough - he’s almost finals-prototype player.”
Riley will be one of nine Crows playing their first-ever final on Saturday afternoon.
Walker, Rory Sloane, Daniel Talia, Jared Petrenko, Brodie Smith, Matt Wright, Ian Callinan and Sam Shaw round out Adelaide’s finals debutants. At the other end of the spectrum, Graham Johncock will play his 14th final, Michael Doughty his 12th and Scott Thompson and Ben Rutten their 10th final each.
The Swans, who have played finals in eight of the past nine years, are experienced September campaigners. Sanderson said he was confident his young Crows would be up to the finals challenge.
“Our guys have played in enough big games,” Sanderson said.
“You could almost marry this final up with a Showdown-type intensity, where there’s that build-up during the week and the expectations are high. Like a Showdown, there will probably be mistakes early on Saturday, and contested ball and tackling will be important. So, it’s not like our young guys have never played in a really big game. It’s not an issue for me at all.
“The boys, who haven’t had finals experience, will realise that after five minutes it just settles into another game. Yes, it might be a bit quicker and we understand the stakes are high, but there’s no reason why guys can’t play well on Saturday even though they haven’t played in a final.
“There’ll be two or three players, who almost exceed our internal expectations with the way they handle it.”
