Crows women’s recruit Courtney Cramey will lead minor premiers Morphettville Park into Sunday’s SAWFL Grand Final.

Cramey and her team will be chasing a third consecutive Open Women’s title when they take on West Adelaide at Thebarton Oval from 2.30pm.

Morphettville Park only lost one game this minor round – to Adelaide University when many of its players were on State game duties.

A number of potential draftees for the new Crows team to compete in the inaugural AFL Women’s competition next year will also be on show on both sides in the grand final.

Ebony Marinoff, the only South Australian to play in the recent All Stars exhibition game in Melbourne, is one of Morphettville Park’s many stars alongside State vice captain Georgia Bevan and leading goalkicker Lexia Edwards.

Anne Hatchard, who was last week named in the Youth Girls All Australian side, is another keen to impress.

West Adelaide, which knocked out Adelaide Uni in last Saturday night’s preliminary final, has Rachael Killian, Kirsty Degrabiele and Louella McCarthy among those involved in the State program this year.

Mount Lofty will play Mount Barker in the Division Two grand final at 12.15pm.

This week’s winner of the highest individual honour in South Australian women’s football will have to wait for two more years before she is eligible to play in the new AFL women’s competition.

Sixteen-year-old Chloe Scheer, from Modbury Hawks, incredibly took home two medals on Monday night – the U18s Rell Smith Medal and then the Dutschke Medal, the senior women's Division One best and fairest.
