Crows CEO Andrew Fagan says Adelaide’s access to Football Park is not under threat.
Charles Sturt Council has endorsed the developer’s master plan for the West Lakes site subject to a new shared-use agreement for the football oval.
But Fagan says the story is a “non-issue” and Adelaide’s lease conditions are secure.
“We’ve got a lease for 33 years up to 2048 that provides the Club with access, effectively seven days a week, 24 hours a day, 365 days a year.
“The obligations that exist within the lease are really clear. They provide the footy club with the ability to use Football Park as we require it for our training purposes.
“The SANFL and the developers have made it really clear to us that those rights would not be impacted in any way.
“So we will continue to use the oval when we need to use the oval.”
