Crows star Patrick Dangerfield scored a perfect 10 from the coaches for his influential performance in Adelaide’s big win over the Western Bulldogs at AAMI Stadium on Sunday.

Dangerfield, who spent more time in the forward line, kicked a game-high four goals, including three in the first half to break the game open and give the Crows the ascendancy at the main change. The All Australian also collected 21 possessions (12 contested), four tackles and three clearances.

Rory Sloane continued his brilliant start to the season, receiving another eight votes in the AFL Coaches Association Player of the Year award. Sloane, who amassed 29 disposals (17 contested), eight clearances and seven tackles against the Dogs, has polled votes in all but one game in 2013.

The hard-working midfielder has climbed into the top 10 of the overall leaderboard with 18 votes. Essendon skipper Jobe Watson and Port Adelaide forward Justin Westhoff (27 votes each) are tied in first place.

In-form defender Andy Otten (four votes) was recognised for holding Bulldogs veteran Daniel Giansiracusa goalless and picking up 25 possessions – his best return since 2009. Reigning Club Champion Scott Thompson (three votes) and Richard Douglas (two votes) were the other Crows to receive votes. 2008 Brownlow Medallist Adam Cooney (three votes) was the only member of the losing side to attract votes.
