Adelaide’s home game against Brisbane at Adelaide Oval will go ahead as planned this weekend but with a reduced crowd capacity.
Crows players and coaches have spent the past 24 hours in Melbourne but are due to return home before the clash with the Lions at 4.05pm on Saturday.
SA Health has determined that Adelaide Oval’s seated capacity will be reduced by 50 per cent, meaning 25,000 people can attend.
As a result, Adelaide Members will need to redeem a ticket for the game when the ticket redemption process opens at 11am on Friday, July 2.
Given the reduced capacity, seats will be allocated as best available at the time of redemption.
“While we would obviously prefer the option of a full house, we must prioritise public health and safety and we acknowledge the efforts of government and health officials in managing what is an evolving situation,” Crows CEO Tim Silvers said.
“If recent events have taught us anything, going to the footy should never be taken for granted.
“After the mad rush to pack up and head to Melbourne yesterday, our players, coaches and staff will now fly home tomorrow morning.
"Their flexibility and willingness to put their personal lives on hold at short notice is to be commended.”
