Adelaide chief executive Andrew Fagan has discussed his delight over the Federal Government’s funding commitment for a new facility for the Crows.
In Sunday’s episode of The Crows Show, brought to you by Optus, Fagan confirms the Club has been in preliminary discussions with the City of Adelaide about developing a master plan.
“The City of Adelaide are supportive of our desire to develop a master plan on the (Adelaide Aquatic Centre) site,” Fagan tells The Crows Show.
“Most recently, we’ve had the Federal Government provide a grant of $15 million towards the total cost of any new facility.
“That was great news and was certainly well received.
“(It) allows us to progress with some certainty regarding what that facility could look like."
Fagan said a new Crows facility would focus not only on high performance, but also on delivering and improving community activities run by the Club.
Also on The Crows Show, Brodie Smith gets quizzed by Riley Knight, Crows coach Don Pyke takes on former Adelaide ruck Rhett Biglands in the nearest to the pin challenge and Wayne Milera sits down to discuss his football journey.
The Crows Show will air on Sunday at 11:30am ACDT on Channel 7.
