Taylor Walker has been recognised as the best player on the ground for a second consecutive week by the AFL coaches, receiving eight votes in Adelaide’s 33-point loss to Sydney.
Walker was the dominant forward on the SCG on Saturday, booting six goals against the Swans to take his season tally to 11 after two rounds.
In doing so, the 30-year-old became the first player in over a decade to register back-to-back five goal hauls in the opening two rounds of an AFL season.
