Adelaide captain Taylor Walker will come under the scrutiny of the Match Review Officer after a high bump on Geelong defender Zach Tuohy at the Adelaide Oval on Thursday night.
Walker's shoulder made contact with Tuohy's head in a collision in the Crows' forward 50 late in the first quarter.
The 28-year-old Cat came straight to the bench and was bleeding but didn't show any initial signs of
Crows coach Don Pyke hopes a clean bill of health for Tuohy works in Walker’s favour.
“I’ve seen the incident, I don’t know, I haven’t looked at it in slow motion,” Pyke said.
“Obviously Tuohy was able to come back on and play the game out, so I’ll let the AFL deal with that.”
Pyke said he looked to re-focus Walker at the quarter-time break.
