Crows midfielder Richard Douglas has laughed off a cheeky stunt at Simonds Stadium on Thursday night, which saw a digitally altered image of Patrick Dangerfield in a Geelong guernsey appear on the scoreboard.
Potential free agent Dangerfield is yet to state whether he intends to stay at Adelaide next year with Geelong hotly tipped to win his services if he decides to leave.
The image, which was featured in the Fox Footy broadcast, amused the home crowd and also Douglas, who was sitting on the bench at the time. Douglas had no issue with the stunt, although said his teammate looked much better in his current colours.
"The crowd enjoyed it [and] the boys didn't really pick up on it so they can have their fun," he said.
"I was on the bench at the time and had a chuckle, but I'm sure the guys on the ground were totally focused on the footy.
"I haven't spoken to him about it … I thought he looked terrible in the blue and white – the tri colours suit him a lot better.
"We don't want to give a running commentary on [his contract] every time we have a press conference or a bit of media – it's going to play out through the year and we'll leave that totally up to him."
Douglas is also eligible for Free Agency at the end of the season, but expressed a strong desire to remain at Adelaide beyond 2015.
