Adelaide forward Josh Rachele has received a Round One Goal of the Year nomination.

The 21-year-old was recognised for his effort mid-way through the second quarter, where he executed a perfect front and centre finish.

In typical small forward fashion, Rachele found himself at the feet of key forwards Riley Thilthorpe and Darcy Fogarty, as a high ball came into the forward 50.

He then gathered the ball, spun out of a tackle from St Kilda defender Arie Schoenmaker and quickly produced a perfect snap on goal.

This is Rachele’s second Goal of the Year nomination to start a season, after being recognised in our Round One match against Gold Coast in 2024.
