Adelaide got the better of the Brisbane Lions in the second round of the NAB Cup by 51-points, but which Crows players posted the big Dream Team points? afc.com.au takes a look below…

Patrick Dangerfield ($349,800) Fwd/Mid: in his first game as (stand-in) captain, Dangerfield not only led the Crows brilliantly in his new leadership role, but also led his charges in Dream Team points, posting 127pts from a game-high 33 disposals. Danger certainly looks ready for a full-time position in the Crows midfield and is an attractive option as a dual-position player.

Shaun McKernan ($229,400) Def/Fwd: With Sam Jacobs and Kurt Tippett rested, McKernan enjoyed a full game playing in the ruck with a number of forays up forward. The 196cm key tall collected 14 disposals, eight marks and booted two goals in a solid performance which saw him finish second for the Crows in Dream Team points with 85.

Bernie Vince ($400,100) Mid: had a solid outing in the greasy conditions, collecting 17 disposals and six marks. Didn’t set the DT world on fire scoring 79 points, but Vince has shown plenty of good signs early, suggesting that he’s set for a big year playing in the Crows engine room.

Brad Symes ($341,300) Mid: Symes certainly knows how to find the football and was another solid performer for the Crows running through the midfield in the win against the Brisbane Lions. He had a game-high five tackles and collected 18 disposals to finish with 79 DT points.

Rory Sloane ($429,500) Mid: There’s a lot to like about the dogged midfielder, with many touting that 2012 will be his breakout Dream Team year. Sloane went about his business in Saturday night’s clash gathering 22 disposals and a goal to score 78 DT points.

He’s Back:
Jason Porplyzia ($202,500) Fwd:
Porplyzia only played a half of football in his return from injury, but was super impressive racking up 16 disposals and 53 DT points in the second half. He spent plenty of time in the midfield and looks suited to a role in the center after working hard on his running during the pre-season. At $202,500 Porps is an absolute bargain and is sure to be one of the most popular selections in the AFL 2012 Dream Team competition.
