Adelaide has recalled forward Scott Welsh and left out key defender Nathan Bock for its clash with the Western Bulldogs at AAMI Stadium on Sunday.

Bock has played in the Crows' past eight matches but has been named as an emergency for Sunday, along with utility Kris Massie and forward Scott Stevens.

Meanwhile, the Bulldogs have recalled defender Matthew Boyd, leaving Brad Murphy, Sam Power and Wayde Skipper as the three emergencies.

Boyd's inclusion means the Bulldogs have made three changes to the team that lost to Fremantle at Subiaco last week, with midfielder Jordan McMahon and veteran Rohan Smith named on Thursday night at the expense of the injured Cameron Faulkner and youngster Cameron Wight.
