Teammates on the field, housemates Andy Otten and Matt Jaensch paired up in the kitchen recently to prepare a dish for the soon-to-be released Crows Foundation cookbook, ‘Crows Kitchen - No Rules’.
Pasta is a popular meal among the players, especially the night before a big game, so it’s entirely appropriate the defensive duo chose a simple variation of a classic pasta recipe as their contribution to ‘Crows Kitchen’.
Otto and Jaensch’s ‘Easy Pasta’ is one of the more than 55 recipes that will feature in the cookbook due out in Foodland stores on Friday, March 30.
'Crows Kitchen' is an 84-page, full-colour cookbook incorporating favourite recipes from Sando and Crows players, superbly captured by legendary retired AFL photographer Ray Titus.
All proceeds from the sale of the 10,000 cookbooks will go to the Crows Foundation, which raises funds for children in need.
The Crows Foundation is the independent charity arm of the Adelaide Football Club and since May 2005 has raised and donated more than $600,000 to a range of SA charities supporting children in need.
Interstate and overseas members and supporters can purchase Crows Kitchen online at Crowmania also from Friday, March 30.
