Adelaide’s squad is resting for a couple of days to take advantage of the Club’s only bye of the minor round.

Recovery and rehabilitation will be the focus this week, although nearly half the squad will be required for SANFL duties this weekend.

David Mackay’s hamstring problem is at the lower end of the scale but whether he is available to play in the next Crows game will be clearer early next week.

Shaun McKernan (corked thigh) should be available for South in the SANFL this week but Brad Crouch (hamstring) will be given one more week of training before playing for West.

Adelaide’s schedule later this week includes a light training session at Pembroke School on Thursday from about 10.30am and then another light run on Friday from about 9.30am on Max Basheer Reserve.

Players not involved in the SANFL games will have the weekend off before returning to the Club on Monday to continue preparations for the round-12 Friday night (June 15) clash with St Kilda at AAMI Stadium.
