Adelaide midfielder Brent Reilly is expected to miss only one or two games with his ankle strain.

And Jason Porplyzia’s knee strain is also expected to keep him out of Saturday night’s clash with Collingwood at AAMI Stadium.

Matthew Bode (knee) also will not be considered this week and upgraded rookie Andrew McIntyre’s ankle strain will keep him out for about five weeks.

But forward Scott Welsh (quad) trained well on Monday morning and should be cleared to join the main training session on Wednesday night.

Reilly’s ankle improved dramatically with constant treatment since Sunday’s game against Fremantle at Subiaco Oval.

Three Crows came off the injury list last week. Darren Pfeiffer (fractured cheekbone) and Ivan Maric (hip) played in the SANFL while Ken McGregor (Achilles) went to Perth as an emergency.

2006 draftee Nick Gill (hamstring) is also ready to start training with the main group and rookie-listed Rhys Archard (hamstring) will also return to full training.
