Little Heroes Foundation has produced a revealing tell-all book in celebration of the Adelaide Football Club’s 20-year anniversary, revealing some of the Club’s untold stories and best-kept secrets.

‘Secret Crows Business’, co-written by The Advertiser’s Michael McGuire and Adelaide Crows past players, coaches and administrators, will be sold exclusively at Newspower Newsagents throughout South Australia, with the proceeds from sales supporting the Foundation’s current projects.

With the help of some of the Adelaide Crows’ most influential identities including Graham Cornes, Rod Jameson, Mark Ricciuto and Andrew Jarman, McGuire reflects on the past 20 years at the Club and relives some of their most memorable moments with the AFC.

Little Heroes Foundation Director and inaugural Crows Captain Chris McDermott was among the first to wear the tri-colour guernsey and says the milestone will be significant to all South Australians as a new era begins.

“The beauty of the Crows’ 20 year history in the AFL is that most of us have grown up with it, lived it, and can remember it,” he says.

“2011 signifies a massive changing of the guard at West Lakes. All ties to the inaugural team have gone and an exciting new era under Coach Neil Craig and Captain Nathan van Berlo has begun.”

The launch of ‘Secret Crows Business’ coincides with the Crow’s first home game for 2011 which will replicate the first AFL game played by the Club against Hawthorn in 1991.

‘Secret Crows Business’ will be available for purchase exclusively from all Newspower Newsagencies from March 24 for $17.95
