Despite spending more time in the forward line, Dangerfield collected 36 possessions and two goals in the win over the Suns to be judged the best player on the ground. He polled a total of 92 votes for the season to sit level with Gold Coast skipper Gary Ablett.
Scott Thompson collected eight votes from coaches Brenton Sanderson and Guy McKenna on Saturday to claim outright fifth spot overall, only two votes behind Dangerfield and Ablett (90).
Ian Callinan (six votes), Jason Porplyzia (two) and Nathan van Berlo (two) were the other Crows to receive votes. Charlie Dixon and Tom Lynch both claimed a vote each for the Suns.
Richmond star Trent Cotchin (107), who had an unassailable lead heading into the final round of the premiership season, won by eight votes ahead of Collingwood onballer Dayne Beams (99).
