Member nominations for AFC Board of Directors
Eligible members are invited to nominate candidates for appointment to the Adelaide Football Club Board of Directors
Adelaide Football Club Directors are appointed by the SA Football Commission. As such, members’ nominations are a recommendation and endorsement by the members of the Club with the eventual appointment to the Board remaining in the hands of the Commission. The Articles of Association provide for up to three (3) member nominations to be forwarded to a Committee (of the Commission and the Club) responsible for assessing the candidates.
Directors whose terms expire in 2012 are Mr Robert Chapman, Mr Andrew Payze and Mr Robert Foord. All three directors will be seeking re-appointment for an additional term.
Members who wish to nominate to be considered for one of the three (3) vacant positions must complete the relevant Nomination Form which can be obtained from the Adelaide Football Club by phoning (08) 8440 6666. Candidates must be nominated by two eligible Gold, Captain’s Club or Premier members.
Nominations close at 5pm on Monday 19 November, 2012
In the event that four or more nominations are received, a postal ballot will be conducted with the nominations of the three (3) highest vote getters being forwarded to the Commission for consideration.
Captain’s Club, Gold and Premier members are advised that the annual club members’ meeting will be held at 5.30pm on Monday 10 December in the Westpac Centre.
