Milestone man Jason Porplyzia polled the highest votes (six) from coaches Brenton Sanderson and Damien Hardwick in Adelaide's 19-point win over Richmond on Saturday.
It's the first time this year Porplyzia, who collected a season-high 23 possessions and two goals, has attracted votes in the AFL Coaches Association Champion Player of the Year Award.
Five-goal forward Taylor Walker and Tigers onballer Trent Cotchin were judged to be the next-best playerso on the ground, both receiving five votes.
Richard Douglas (four), Scott Thompson (four), Brett Deledio (three), Sam Jacobs (two) and Dustin Martin (one) also shared votes, reflecting the even-nature of the performance. Reliable midfielder Thompson remains in second place on the overall leaderboard, level with Cotchin on 59.
