Stats that matter
Sunday’s match will be Adelaide’s first visit to Skoda Stadium. The Giants have only played at the revamped venue, which wasn’t ready at the start of the season, twice against Essendon and Richmond.
The Crows could potentially be without four of their top-five leading goalkickers against GWS. Taylor Walker, who tops the Club’s goalkicking with 37, will miss another two weeks through suspension, while Kurt Tippett (concussion), Ian Callinan (corked calf) and Jared Petrenko (foot) are all in a race to be fit for the trip to Western Sydney. Shaun McKernan (fractured jaw) is also unavailable.
Jeremy Cameron has kicked more goals (22) than any other Giant this season. He’s also ranked second at the club in goal assists (10). The one-time NAB Rising Star favourite became ineligible for the award on Monday after being offered a reprimand for striking Hawk Clinton Young.
Only two Giants, former Crow Phil Davis and Western Bulldogs recruit Callan Ward, have played every game in the Club’s debut AFL season. In contrast, 10 Crows - Nathan van Berlo, Scott Thompson, Rory Sloane, Patrick Dangerfield, Daniel Talia, Michael Doughty, Sam Jacobs, Ben Rutten, Brent Reilly and Tippett - are yet to miss a match.
Patrick Dangerfield leads the competition in inside 50m entries (79) after leapfrogging Richmond star Brett Deledio (77). Dangerfield also remains No.1 in hard-ball gets and contested possessions.

In the Mix: GWS - AFL.com.au
After some admirable efforts throughout the year, the season is turning into a grind for the new boys. A 162-point defeat to a rampant Hawthorn, when GWS kicked just four goals, was an indication of the wear and tear limiting the young list. Dylan Shiel (foot) and Luke Power (rib) remain injured, while the severity of Tom Scully's groin problem is not yet known. Dean Brogan was rested and could come back to face the Crows. Steve Coniglio and Toby Greene at least indicated they have plenty left in the tank for the run home, with Taylor Adams making a welcome return from suspension. Kevin Sheedy's tactics to freshen up the side from here out will be fascinating.
