The Adelaide Football Club will stage the inaugural Adelaide Football Club Art and Wine Auction on Friday August 24 at the National Wine Centre.

Responding to feedback, the Club has opted to separate art and wine from the recent highly successful Gala Auction to create a standalone event.

South Australia is the highly respected flagship state for the Australian wine industry and enjoys global recognition for its deep and long held commitment to the Arts. So as the team for all South Australians, it seems only natural that we would create this event for the enjoyment of our members and supporters.

There will be just 12 Major Auction items that will go under the hammer by our two intrepid auctioneers in Greg Moulton from Brock Harcourts and Oren Klemich from Klemich Real Estate. The list of items being put together is amazing headed by our pinnacle item in 12 consecutive years of Penfold’s Grange: 1991-2002.

However, we cater for all budgets and tastes and this is where the Silent Auction comes to life.  Eighty lots will be offered including dozens, magnums, prints, oils, photography and premium single bottles - something for everyone.

We are looking to showcase the depth and breadth of our wine and art industry with a diverse and entertaining catalogue. If you would like to contribute to the catalogue, either via the wine or art fields please click here or contact Mark McGill at the Club on 8440 6666.

Tickets to the luncheon are just $125 per person and include a three course meal, premium Treasury Wine Estates and CUB beverages. Tables of ten are encouraged. Tickets can be purchased by clicking here.

We hope you can join this new and exciting event.
