Adelaide stalwart Taylor Walker is determined to return the Club “back to where it belongs”.

The Crows have blooded five AFL debutants in 2020 as the list goes through a significant rejuvenation.

On Tuesday, Walker was asked by the media how he and his senior teammates stay motivated during a challenging period for the Club.

“I want to play a part in getting this Club back where we belong,” Walker said.

“I’m very clear on where our Club is at… (but) we don’t stand for losing.

“We’re a proud Club, always have been.

“I’m confident we can turn this around quite quickly.”

Walker said his senior teammates also understood what the Club was trying to achieve.

“We’re in a rebuilding phase, regenerating the list, giving opportunities for young guys to get experience,” he said.

“I find it exciting to play with guys like Ned McHenry, Tyson Stengle, Shane McAdam…

“We understand where our footy Club is at and we want to keep building.”

Adelaide has struggled on the field in 2020, but Walker assured the Club’s culture was stronger than ever.

“The pleasing thing is our culture is outstanding,” Walker said.

“Now it’s about getting better and playing to win.

“You don’t want it (losing) to roll on and roll on… it’s not fair to our fans.”
