In the lead up to ‘Kid’s Round’  the Crows Foundation invited Bernie Vince, Cameron Ellis-Yolmen, Ben Dowdell and Nick Joyce in to visit some unwell children at the Women’s & Children’s Hospital.

The visit turned into a bit of a party, as children well enough to leave their beds gathered in the play area of the Newland Ward for a photo, cuddle or a chat.

Pictured is Bernie Vince with young Dane who after a rough start to life is now recovering well from skull surgery. Also pictured (below) is Duncan, with Bernie and Cameron Ellis-Yolmen. Duncan was actually discharged earlier in the day but wanted to wait to meet the players before going home after a lengthy hospital stay.
