Top five Dream Team scorers
Tom Lynch 165
Patrick Dangerfield 141
Sam Kerridge 118
Bernie Vince 112
Scott Thompson 112
Tom Lynch’s 10-goal haul against GWS on Sunday saw the Adelaide forward produce a monstrous 165 points - the highest Dream Team score to-date for season 2013.
Lynch was owned by just 1.20% of Dream Team coaches within the competition going into round seven. No doubt the 2,688 coaches who selected the 22-year-old would have been pumping their fists after every one of 'The Chief's’ 10 goals.
Collectively, it was a great round for Dream Teams featuring Adelaide players, with 10 Crows players registering a score over 90 points.
Dangerfield was again superb, backing up his 145-point effort in round six with another 141 points against the Giants.
Dangerfield’s numbers were overshadowed by Lynch’s large bag of goals, but in review his 28 disposals, nine marks and 4.2 is a phenomenal effort. The Crows midfielder is in elite Dream Team form; hope you had him as captain!
Kerridge’s Dream Team price will continue to climb. He enjoyed a career-high 118 points in just his fifth game of AFL football.
The Crows young gun had an impressive 27 disposals, 11 marks and three goals.
Another DT performance worth highlighting was that of Jarryd Lyons. Lyons began as the Crows’ sub against GWS, but still managed 19 disposals and 63 DT points in a little over a quarter of football.
