Lewis Johnston expects to return for North Adelaide’s Preliminary Final against West Adelaide at AAMI Stadium on Sunday.

Johnston, 22, sat out the Roosters’ win over Woodville-West Torrens last weekend after injuring his ankle in the in the Club’s Elimination Final win over Central District.

The exciting forward, who has kicked 31 goals in 10 games for North this year, has been given the green light from Crows medical staff, but needs to complete training on Friday night to be passed fit. It’s been a big week for Johnston, who has signed a new deal with the Crows.

The winner of Sunday’s clash, which starts at 3:10pm, will take on reigning premiers Norwood in the 2013 SANFL Grand Final.
